I don't know anything about it really.. i just found it in my cause ma surroundings are a little foresty. And just for curiosity i google lensed this creature and it said Gonatista grisea.. that's all

Welcome to Project Noah sandasmankeri88! Gonatista grisea is known as more of a Southeastern US species.. I think you may have something else. But great camouflage and thanks for sharing! Hopefully someone familiar with mantids in India can help with ID. The habitat field is where we encourage users to fill out information about where they found the creature. In this case it sounds like you found it in your house near a forested area which would be perfect to put in the habitat field. :) Great to have you join us and I hope to see more spottings from you!
