thank you Kate. I really like this little spider. It was tiny so I'm not surprised it was immature.
Correction - I mixed up the photos! This one is identified as Latrodectus geometricus (immature).
Tentative identification as Cispius kimbius by Ansie Dippenaar-Schoeman.
This looks like it might be Panicum maximum (the grass, not the spider!)
