Description:

Large Tachinid Fly of about 1.2 cm in length. Metallic blue-black with faint lines on the thorax. These flies are parasitoids in the larval stage of other arthropods.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
