Description:

A small (about 2 cm) odd dressed caterpillar. Mimicking dry leaf and grass blowing in the wind. See the movie.

Habitat:

This caterpillar was found on a man made stone wall dividing the bush camp from a river. (Hlane National park, Swaziland)

Bayucca, I have very low expectations to ID this one to more than Geometridae. I dont know if I should add that to the spotting and be happy or keep on waiting a bit... After all there are about 26 000 different ones... What would you do?

Wonderful movie, Tina. Still can't get over the effort that creature put into moving! And the whole performance it put on. Didn't get very far, though...
I know some Geometrinae which had some similar baggage.
