Field Notes

Description:

Large Moth, 2 inches long. Thick body and very heavy.

Habitat:

Found near my front door, attracted to the light. Located in riparian zone with mixed pine/oak forests nearby.

Notes:

There's a full moon in 2 days (summer solstice)
