Description:

Interesting moth of about 2 cm in length, brown with 4 dark-ringed white spots, one on each wing. The hind wing spots are definitely primitive eye-spots.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
