Field Notes

Description:

This larvae? was moving across the trail and kept falling on its side when going over a tiny rock. Not the best series but I'm very curious to find out what this is. The legs are only in the front which must be why it was so top heavy. It was yellow-brown and about 2 cm long.

Habitat:

Coast Sage Scrub during a wildlife transect survey at Blue Sky Ecological Reserve.

Notes:

Spotted by a fellow wildlife tracker
