Field Notes

Description:

Growing from a large old eucalyptus log these tiny balls were very hard and difficult to remove. Most were approximately 15mm diameter. Sharing the log with some Tremella sp.

Habitat:

In a very tall eucalyptus rainforest in a national park.

Notes:

Known as 'Hazel Woodwart' in the northern hemisphere. <br>
