Spotted inside the car parking very close to open abandoned area with lot of plants.

Brian38, yes it seems that rugged area is formed in an attack. It is clear now. :) Thank you!
That is interesting. It's also really hard to say what has happened. There is probably some aging "tattering" happening. It's also possible something took a bite at it thinking the eyespots were actually eyes.
Brian38, Thank you for the suggestion. Just one clarification : Hind wing inner margin is cut across the eye spots (aka ocelli). Is this cut natural or accidental? I never observed hind wing natural design across ocelli. So, I believe, somehow it's wings are torn and that cutting made it look like the natural. :)
