Field Notes

Description:

Small Leafhopper of about 6mm from head to the tip of the wings. Legs and underside are pale, while upperside is black with blueish sheen and red spots. There are three distinct spots between the eyes and three on the thorax. The genus Ladoffa has similar colouration, but I'm not sure... Any suggestions welcome.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforest around Laguna Miramar in Chiapas, Mexico.
