Description:
A large but cryptically-coloured moth, with the wingspan of 40 - 50 mm. The moths fly from May to August. The caterpillars feed on oak. It flies in June and July, and comes to light, as it was the case on my photo cause I have found it close to the lamp.
Habitat:
It inhabits oak woodland around Europe.
