Species ID Suggestions

White-tailed nuthatch

Sitta himalayensis

Tickell's leaf warbler

(Phylloscopus affinis)

Nothing like a Nuthatch. I think Tickell's is a good call but up to 1999 there was only one record of that species in the area.Sulphur-bellied Warbler had 2 records there. Only Hume's Warbler and Greenish Warbler are listed for that area and both have wing bars which yours does not have. http://orientalbirdimages.org/photographers.php?p=55&action=birderimages&Bird_Image_ID=64928&Birder_ID=1237 If you added habitat information as we request in our FAQs it might make ID much easier as these Warblers have different habitat requirements in winter.
Hi Praveen thank you for the id suggestion, but I got another suggestion-Tickell's leaf warbler (Phylloscopus affinis). Can you please check?
