Description:

Orange barring below and checkerboard patterning on wings. Smaller in comparison to Red-tailed Hawk.

Habitat:

Seen daily along lowland, wooded area of Pidgeon Creek in Evansville, Indiana. Tend to inhabit forested areas with access to water.
