Description:
Brightly colored shell. Still on the small side for a box turtle, so he must not be very old. His eyes are not very red yet, as in mature males. The concave plastron and relatively flat carapace identify this turtle as a male.
Habitat:
Deciduous woods, in mountains of VA.
