Field Notes

Notes:

these guys are my forth nesting pair I've had in my yard this year. they have made their nest directly above the boardwalk and if they actually have chicks it will be a first for this nest. so far none of the nests I've had this year have fledged we have an extremely pesky raccoon who's been eating them all hopefully this year this nest will be successful. the first photo was right when the mate flew in and created the other one the rest of the photos were when one of them climbed down the tree and just let me take photos.
