Field Notes

Description:

Tiny fly with blue- green metallic coloured body. Long legs with bristles. Iridescent wings.

Habitat:

I saw it on the leaves of a Desert Petunia.

Notes:

I had never seen fly this before, but maybe I have never looked closely enough. I hope I have ID-ed it correctly.
