Field Notes

Description:

This is a relatively large moth, extremely shy and flies away at an attempt to photograph it. Nights are better opportunities to photograph it. Wing length: 40 mm.

Habitat:

Mixed forests mainly of pines, cherry and bamboo. Cool to warm place. Altitude: 1,700 m.

Notes:

This moth had visited our terrace light.
