Field Notes

Description:

3/8"-1/2" (9-14mm). Elongate, almost cylindrical. Red on top with 4 black dots on pronotum. Elytra have varying pattern of black streaks and dots. Triangular scutellum and underbody dark. Legs mostly greyish black tinged with red. antennae grey. Thorax has tubercles on sides.

Meadows with milkweeds
