Field Notes

Description:

Alternating leaflets with a single vein. The stem of the leaf was set in a little bit from the top, noticeably sticking out on the bottom. Regularly spaced, marginal sori on the fertile leaves.

Habitat:

Mixed woods, hillside, near a stream, moist and shady.
