Description:

A beetle of the super family Curculionoidea. .50 - .75 inches (12.7 - 19 mm). Yellow with long snout and distinctive geniculate club antennae. Host for laying eggs: Rhubarb, sunflower, thistle. Adults cause damage to plants.

Habitat:

Beltzville State Park, Eastern, Pennsylvania in a meadow near a corn field and a large lake.
