Field Notes

Notes:

A wild group, non-habituated to humans, in an undisclosed location in Africa. (I couldn't just remove the location, so I put Africa and Cameroon popped up).
These gorillas were at arm's lengths - the babies curious about us, the mothers about our cameras

Thanks Reza, it was by far the most memorable wildlife encounter in my life!
Extraordinary spotting, thank you for sharing this wonderful moment with us !
hi Jemma, I will happily remove the location if PN allows me to save it without. This spotting took place so long ago that, alas, no one knows whether there are any left in the region, esp. after the civil war
This is a sensitive spotting. People are after gorillas. These are endangered. You can hide the location and just state in your notes. PN understands.
