Haha right? The females give even experienced birders problems, they definitely aren't my favorite. Look more like a sparrow, but the males are so easy!
Ha!! Males, no problem!!! Brown babies, brown females...ugh! I did know the 2 on the right were babies...they were screaming at Mom "feed me!! NOW!!" and she was doing her best!!! Thanks, Ashley! ;-)
The one on the left looks to be an adult female, the two on the right look to be immatures, they don't have the eye stripe very well developed yet. They might all be immatures, but I'm sure about the ID, not so sure about the ages :)
