Description:

What a beautiful beetle!

Notes:

I found this beetle perched on a broad leaf in a large field in Shoreham, New York (Long Island). I have honestly never seen then in Shoreham before - and according to Wikipedia, they only arrived in NJ last year. So in a year's time, they have migrated even further North.
