Field Notes
Description:
Large flycatcher species. Thick pointed bill and long tail. Back is an olive brown and the belly is very to sometimes to brighter yellow. The crest and part of the wings is reddish brown and is short but thick. The call is unmistakeable as it sounds loud with it's purreeeer and ka-brick
Habitat:
Open areas, bare branch trees and shade trees.
Notes:
These birds are not completely shy like other flycatchers.
