Description:

It is a thrush that was chosen as National Bird of Costa Rica because of its melodius songs that announce the start of the rainy season.
It is approx. 22 y 24 cm in size. The two sexes are similar, with brown feathers, brown-red iris, yellow beak and dark cream legs.

Habitat:

Common sight all over Costa Rica.
This one seen in a garden in Tuetal de Alajuela.
