Field Notes

Description:

Small yellow-colored moth. It has two distinctive black dots on each wing. The tip of its wings are "bordered" with brown.

Habitat:

This species was observed at a County nature Preserve. It was on one of the graphic design metal figures for the Preserve attached to the wooden sign. There is a 2-lane county road in front of the sign;and sandy scrub oak area behind the sign.
