Field Notes

Description:

Distinctive black dot on "cheek". Bill is reddish. Really confused about the "Brown-head" part; which is important enough for the species to be named after it.

Habitat:

Aquatic. Spotted it in Okhla Bird Sanctuary, India

Notes:

Also listed as Larus brunnicephalus.
