I'm not so sure either. It certainly has a similar shape and pattern, but I don't know much about beetles. Though I do believe it is in the Erotylidae family. It looks similar to the Erotylus species, but I know there are so many species of beetles and I think beetles have one of the largest orders? I may attempt reading this article: http://www.biol.uni.wroc.pl/cassidae/....
