Field Notes

Description:

A sibling species of the Gray Treefrog, they are identical in appearance but differ genetically. In our area, only Cope's Gray Treefrogs can be found.

Habitat:

Swampy pond area in a mixed forest.

Notes:

Found on a night frog hunt with a group of 3rd-6th graders staying at our camp for an overnight outdoor retreat and photographed the following day before release.
