Description:

The purple, ball-shaped wild flower is 1/2 inch in diameter. It has 5 sepals and 5 petals. It sits atop of a 6.5 inch stem which branches near the base.

Habitat:

Full sun location in a small meadow surrounded by trees. Very dry, thin soil sitting atop of limestone.

Notes:

Attracts butterflies
