Hello LL. I found this link http://bugguide.net/node/view/379448/bgimage. You can compare the size and the segments in your spotting to the one in bugguide. It is at least likely to be in the Cryptopidae fam and it seems to be in Iowa (according to this http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/archive/index.php/t-51385.html) I hope it helps :) Best ones
