Reckless Jumper

I saw a female Reckless Jumper eating a fly, when a male came up. They both made eye contact, and then the male did a strange dance where he lifted his left front leg, and then his right about a second apart. Then he put down his left leg, and his right, also about a second apart. The female then looked away, and let the male go. He was not courting her, but simply telling her to let him be. To make sure it was not a fluke, I pushed the male over to the female again three times. Every time, he did the same dance.
