Field Notes

Description:

Ah raccoons, you love them or you hate them. I personally love them. Such cute little buggers. These are wild specimens wandering around the park, but there are two at the zoo that will often take nuts and berries out of your hands through the wire cage and eat them. Very friendly. Very cute. Weird little hands though.

Habitat:

Native to North America. Introduced in Europe and oddly enough, Japan.
