Field Notes

Description:

This female squirrel is clearly nursing....she seems to be relocating or making a new drey.

Habitat:

Campus of a government office cum residential complex. This area is wooded and then there is agricultural land.

Notes:

What struck me about the drey's location as well as the material used was how well these animals have adapted to urban environments.
