Looks just like the Coprinellus micaceus I've been finding all over the place. They look very different when they are more mature of this.
Thank you, gully.moy. I've looking through my books and online, and I think you're correct. They happened to be a spotting on my way home one day.
Likely something close to Coprinellus micaceus, with the white spots washed off. Close ups would help.
