Field Notes

Description:

Help needed to ID this caterpillar. A distinctive yellow stripe down the sides. A pair of ear tufts. Additional single dorsal tufts at each end. Otherwise covered in sparse, fine hair.

Habitat:

Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.

Notes:

I suspect this is a moth caterpillar. I thought I had seen this one on Noah before, but I have been down all 575 Asian caterpillar spottings and came up blank. I have photographed this caterpillar before, but not posted it.
