Description:
The sound of this bird is something I grew up with, but today was the first time I really saw how pretty it is. It is a common bird in all parts of Sweden
Habitat:
Next to a park close to a small creek. Urban environment.
Notes:

Abdomen and undergump is white and it is heavily freckled with arrowhead-shaped spots on the flanks and under the wings. The breast is orange beige and also freckled with longitudinal dark stripes. It has a bright eyebrow lines, the darkening of the eye and beak are yellow-orange with a gray beak tip and it has dark gray legs. The length is 22-27 cm and 39-42 cm wingspan. The bird weighs 100 grams. Most of the vocalizations are chattering.
The Fieldfare is the most common Turdus in Sweden and breed in large numbers across the country. Only some leave Sweden during winter.
Europe represents 75-94% of the global breeding distribution of this bird, and breeding population in this area is estimated at 14-24 million pairs, which extrapolated means 42-72 million individuals. Based on these figures is appreciated, very tentatively, that global stocks consist of 18 to 34 million pairs. (Wikipedia in Swedish)
