I spotted this at Salto del Golondrino, near Mocoa.

I think it is a Selaginella, thanks Scott and thank you Gerardo.
Take a look at this: http://species.wikimedia.org/wiki/Selaginella_martensii. This is a Central American Selaginella, not a South American one, but it is very similar.
Beautiful. Club moss seems possible, but it doesn't resemble any North American species, or even genus. Maybe a spikemoss, Selaginella?
