Field Notes

Description:

This emerald moth had a wing span of about 35 mm. Each green wing had a small dark spot between thin jagged white lines. The inner margins of the fore wings had long pale green fringe. Trailing margins had a short pink fringe. Costal margins were white. <br>
The legs were tinged ping as were the feathery antennae. Eyes were green, the same colour as the wings.

Habitat:

Spotted in a nature reserve

Notes:

There are many similar looking Emeralds -ID needs confirmation.
