Description:

Goniopora have numerous daisy-like polyps that extend outward from the base, each tipped with 24 stinging tentacles which surrounds a mouth.

Habitat:

Warm and temperate waters of Indian and Pacific Oceans.

Notes:

Often called flowerpot coral
