Description:

In mid-summer, it produces spires of brownish yellow flowers with a white lower lip and speckled interior. Give plants a shady, well-drained spot in the garden. Propagate by sowing seed in containers during late spring. Height: 60 - 90 cm.

Habitat:

It is found growing wild in The Balkans

Notes:

All parts of plant are poisonous if ingested

ha ha ha true, there is a funny name in Croatian for this genus is zijevalice that means yawning plant :)
What a neat plant! It would be fun to see the flower with ultraviolet light. This could be pollinated by a jumbo jet! :)
