Field Notes

Description:

Narrow-winged damselfly with a green thorax and demarcations on each segment. Resting on a twig. Preys on Enallagma basidens, the double-striped bluet, as well as midges.

Habitat:

Seen in the swamp at Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve.
