Field Notes

Description:

This kind of puffbird is about 18 cm long and weight approx. 42 gr. it likes shade areas in the understory where it waits for insects spiders frogs or lizards.

Habitat:

Humit, wet and transition with dry forest, it likes semi open areas with vines. Native from Mexico to Ecuador.
