Dangling Inflorescence. Plant has leaves like the Banana plant.

Habitat:

Found this growing in the once-upon a garden of an uninhabited house.

Ant-friendly flower.

Hi Sukanya, Lovely spotting. I am quite sure this is the Heliconia rostrata. It is common world wide. I added a photo link from the Puerto Rico Heliconia Society. The inflorescences of the pendula are much longer and spaced out.
