Sandy forest with pine and oak. This habitat is fire-suppressed longleaf pine sandhill savanna but it is not actually control burned.

Hey Machi, I think this is Smilex auriculata or Smilex laurifolia as well. I'm leaning more towards S. auriculata. I think we have the same plant. Check out the link above. :)
Yes, Greenbrier. Smilax sp. May be S. auriculata. But there's also A. laurifolia, and S. glauca.
