Large clumps of very large, spherical snail eggs

Habitat:

Saw these while walking on the boardwalk at Wallace Brooks Park. Cypress Tree wetlands

Hey Machi so you were close, but the Channeled Apple Snail has not been recorded in Florida. Though the Island Apple Snail was originally mistaken as the Channeled Apple Snail. There are four species of Apple Snails in Florida. The Florida Apple Snail is the only native species. Check out the website I provided. It's really cool and it does a comparison of their eggs. I love your spotting! :D
That's what I was thinking, but I don't know how to differentiate the species. I especially can't tell by their eggs.
