Field Notes

Description:

Several small clusters of annual rabbitsfoot grass, also called annual beard-grass. I honestly associate these little guys with summer in the Midwest but they're not actually native here. In fact some States consider them a noxious weed.

Habitat:

Annual rabbitsfoot grass is native to Southern Europe, but has been introduced all throughout the world, save for the obvious Antartica.
