Field Notes

Description:

Leaves shiny and covered in dark spots. Flowers with 3 petals and 3 similarly colored sepals. Flower heads dangled down on stalks above the low-lying leaves. There were few flowers compared to how numerous the leaves were.

Habitat:

Deciduous forest.
