Description:
The top is most shiny black, but the underside is shiny metallic, in dark blue or violet. Antennae are reddish brown.
Habitat:
The beetle is most often found in forests. With the sensitive antennas, they are looking after poop from animal. They dig tunnels which they fill with poop. There the female lay her eggs.
