Description:

Lynx spider sharing a rock rose flower with a crab spider, see the 2nd. pic. Either Oxyopes lineatus or O. nigripalpis.
Lynx spiders are all hunting spiders that spend their lives on plants, flowers and shrubs.
The Oxyopidae have spiny legs, and in many species those legs, augmented by the spines, seem to be used as a sort of catching-basket in trapping flying insects.

Habitat:

Spotted at a rock rose flower, in a Holm oak and pine tree forest.
